My Goals
I love to write about all kinds of stories, but I love writing stories that allow me to connect with others and share their lives with other people. I think human connection is extremely important, which is why I want to be in the journalism field-- there is always someone to relate to and new things to experience. In the future, I would love to continue telling important, never-before-heard stories. I want to make a mark on the world and allow others to connect with meaningful anecdotes from all around the globe.
About Me
Hi! My name is Mia and I am a senior at Linganore High School in Frederick, MD. I am an Editor-in-Chief of my school's newspaper, The Lance. I love writing, reading, and editing all sorts of media. I am a drum major for my school's marching band and a Vice President for my school's National English Honor Society chapter. I love chocolate malted milkshakes and traveling. I especially love to explore new places and learn new things everywhere I go, which is why journalism is a perfect profession for me!
"Journalism is merely history's first draft."
